Intent to Return: If your student is returning to Westgate or going elsewhere for the 2024-2025 school year, please let us know by clicking here to complete the Intent To Return form. Responses are due by January 31, 2024.

Current 8th Graders: Please click here to fill out the 2024-2025 High School application. Applications are due by January 31, 2024, for priority consideration in the lottery. More information regarding Accuplacer testing information can be found here.

Kinder 101 Virtual Information Night - RSVP Now!

Kinder 101 Information Night will be held on February 8, 2024, from 6 - 7 pm, RSVP here.
Kindergarten is foundational and choosing the right one for your student can be stressful, especially when you don't know what to take into consideration.
Members of the Westgate staff who are experienced in parenting Kindergartners as well as subject matter experts in education will lead this Kindergarten 101 presentation.
This presentation is not Westgate-specific but will feature different schools and programs in the area.

Spirit Night & Events Committee Happenings!

Our wonderful Events committee has several spirit nights coming up. The first one is TONIGHT at Sky Zone from 5:30 - 7 pm. Come join in on the fun!
Raising Cane's (the location on 136th & I-25) spirit night is on January 17th from 4 - 8 pm.
And the Scholastic Book Fair is coming up on Jan 22 - 25. More details to follow!
Last but certainly not least, please join the Events Committee meeting next week, Tuesday, Jan 16 at 8:15 am in the teacher's lounge. Everyone is welcome!

Westgate Quarter 3 Clubs Now Open!

Club registration is open and filling up quickly! Register for clubs here.
UPDATE: Winter Fun Club and Wellness Wednesday Club are now accepting 2nd graders.
Outside club organizations are accepting registrations through their digital flyers found on our website.
Clubs begin next Tuesday, 1/16/24, and run through 3/22/24.

It's Cold Weather Season

Front Doors open at 7:45; a.m. doors may open as early as 7:40 a.m. in inclement weather
Recess – In good conditions, students usually go outside in cold weather; precipitation/wind/ground conditions affect the decision.
Clothing – Please send your student with appropriate clothes for the weather conditions. This often includes dressing in layers in Colorado as temperatures can swing from freezing in the morning to 60’s in the afternoon!
Label It – We recommend that you add your student’s name inside their jackets and coats as they’ve been known to leave them outside!

Clothing Swap is Coming Back to Westgate!

The exact date is yet to be scheduled but it will be during the week of Earth Week in April 2024.

Please start setting aside gently used clothing items for the upcoming swap.
Families get first pick and then we'll donate any remaining items to a local charity.
