Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities
Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities (CLUBS) are available each quarter. These can be a variety of after-school activities that are planned by Westgate teachers and staff. From exploring a variety of art mediums to learning strategy with game play, or playing a sport, these club activities are made to be fun and engaging for our students and offer options for kids of all ages. Westgate often contracts with outside validated organizations for additional club offerings that you may have to register for individually.
- Students must be signed up before the registration deadline.
- Please note the age group of the club offering when registering.
- No late registration will be accepted.
- Please note that all students must be picked up by 5pm. Please be considerate in the appropriate travel time it takes to get your student(s) by the 5pm pick up time.

- Westgate Club registration will begin August 5th at 4:30pm. Outside Club Organizations have opened their registration. Please use their flyers below to sign up!
- Registration closes on August 14th at 11:59pm.
- Clubs will begin the week of August 17th and be done on September 30th.

| Coloring and Board Games | K-7th | $65 | Papiernik | Each week students will be able to play various board games ( Sorry!, Spot It, Connect four, etc.) and they will have coloring books and sheets to choose from with various coloring supplies ( Gel pens, sharpies, acrylic markers, colored pencils, etc.) |
| Art Club | 3rd-12th | $80 | Houghton | Welcome to art club, here we will spend our time creating and being imaginative. Students and I will discuss what things they want to do and learn, and we will create a new project weekly centered around their interests. Come hang out and be creative for an hour! |
| Take-A-Part Club | 4th-12th | $80 | Elliott | Students will take a part several different kinds of devices to see how they work. They will also see how technology has progressed over time. If you have students who like to work with their hands, this is a great opportunity to get tools in their hands in a safe way! |

| Pokemon | 3rd-6th | $60 | Michielli | Pokémon Club is a fun, interactive club for Pokémon fans! Students will play Pokémon-themed Jeopardy, Kahoot, and Bingo, create their own Pokémon cards, participate in guided drawing activities, enjoy a Pokémon card show-and-tell (optional trading), and watch age-appropriate Pokémon episodes. Small prizes will be awarded throughout the session. Snacks are provided and include popcorn, fruit snacks, and Capri Suns. |

In Dungeons & Dragons Club, students will work together to create unique characters, solve exciting mysteries, battle mythical creatures, and embark on unforgettable quests. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the game, everyone is welcome. Along the way, students will build creativity, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills—all while having an incredible time exploring magical worlds and telling epic stories together. Welcome to Lotus Leaders!
Welcome to Lotus Leaders! This club was created to teach students fun and engaging ways to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. Yoga is a wonderful way to promote calmness, mindfulness, and overall well-being, especially for young learners who have busy and active school days.
In this club, students will learn a variety of yoga poses and breathing techniques that help them relax, manage stress, and calm their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy way. They will also develop greater body awareness, balance, coordination, and self-control through mindful movement and breathing.
