Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities

Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities (CLUBS) are available each quarter. These can be a variety of after-school activities that are planned by Westgate teachers and staff. From exploring a variety of art mediums to learning strategy with game play, or playing a sport, these club activities are made to be fun and engaging for our students and offer options for kids of all ages. Westgate often contracts with outside validated organizations for additional club offerings that you may have to register for individually.

  • Students must be signed up before the registration deadline.
  • Please note the age group of the club offering when registering.
  • No late registration will be accepted.
  • Please note that all students must be picked up by 5pm. Please be considerate in the appropriate travel time it takes to get your student(s) by the 5pm pick up time.

Each week, a few different students will help choose the games we play ahead of time, giving everyone a chance to share their favorite outdoor game.

Games may include favorites like Duck Duck Goose, tag games, relay races, capture the flag, sharks and minnows, red light/green light, and more, but ultimately the students will help decide!

Each session will begin with a short warm-up activity to get our bodies moving. The final 10–15 minutes will be free play time on the playground, giving students time to relax, explore, and socialize with friends.
