Teacher Heyman
Hello ! My name is Rikki Heyman and I’m teaching 3rd /4th advocacy! I'm so excited to be starting my 9th year in the classroom. I spent the first 6 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade in Phoenix, and I'm looking forward to returning to 3rd grade here at Westgate. I believe integrity, empathy, resilience, and accountability. As a classroom community we are each responsible for the learning and well-being ourselves and our community.
Some of my personal interests include being outdoors, mostly hiking, and fishing. I love to read and my goal is 30 books this year. I'm also very creative and crafty. I'm currently crocheting a "book blanket" tracking the number and genre of the books I finish.
