1/2 Music Class Week of 5/25/20

For these last days of school, I'd like you to sing your favorite songs, make up a dance, play the music games that I sent out the last two weeks, or play an instrument.

It's really important to exercise your brain in order to stay mentally fit. Music is a really fun and enjoyable way to do that.

If you would like, you can send me a video or audio of you playing or singing a song.

1/2 Music Week of 5/4/20

Hi Mrs. Hamilton's class!

During this time of staying inside, singing, dancing and enjoying music are very important for mental health.  For this first week, I would like you to pick 2-3 (or more) songs a day to sing and dance to.

Click on this link for access to the Learning Station songs you know from class:

If you have other songs you enjoy, please take a few minutes each day this week and sing along/dance to them.

Here is a website where you can play music games and sharpen your rhythmic skills:

I recommend spending 20-30 minutes a day enjoying music.

If you would like to ask a question/have a meeting with me, email me for the link and password.

My office hours on Zoom are:
Monday 8AM-9AM
Friday 8AM-9AM

1/2 Music Week of 4/27/20

Hello music class!
This is your last week in music before you go to art.  If you would like to send in a video (audio only works too) of you playing an instrument or singing your favorite song, I would love to hear it!

Send it to [email protected] and let me know if you'd also like it posted to the school's website to show our community.
