Ms. Hansen
Hi! I am Ms. Hansen and I am so excited to be a part of the Kindergarten team and Westgate community! We are going to learn so many new and exciting things, and have a great year!
I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher as I was growing up around passionate and encouraging teachers, including my grandmother. I started my love for teaching kindergarten at Colorado Christian University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in December 2022. This is my second year teaching and my second year at Westgate.
Before moving to Colorado for college in 2018, I grew up in southern California. I currently live with my roommates/best friends, MacKenzie and Jessica, and my cat, Toby (a 16-year-old orange Tabby). When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me watching shows/movies with my roommates, hanging out with my cat, and baking. Some of my favorite things include the color lavender, the Harry Potter series, and Italian food.
I am so excited to get to know the kindergarten students and their wonderful families!
