Welcome to my page!

I am Daniella Parisi, and I teach social studies at Westgate High School. I was born and raised in New Jersey, where I attended a small high school in a tight-knit community similar to Westgate. I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2017 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in History Secondary Education and began working as a teacher of social studies shortly after.

Although I love the Jersey shore, Taylor ham, and bagels, my fiancé and I moved to Colorado in 2021 with our two dogs, Alma and Honey. In 2023 we invested in an off-grid cabin on 12 acres of land in Westcliffe, CO. It is my favorite place to be and most of my weekends are spent there!

This will be my 8th year teaching and my 2nd year at Westgate. When I'm not teaching, I love to cook, cuddle up with a good book (and my 8 lb chihuahua Honey), and be outside in nature. I am a deep lover of history and find great purpose and fulfillment in what I do!
