K-1 Music Week of 9/21/20

This week is your last week in music before conference week and grades.

Monday: ZoomClass at 1:00.  We will be singing and dancing to more songs from the Learning Station.  We will review different types of instruments and the families they belong to.

Tuesday: Pick your favorite 2 songs and see if you can MEMORIZE the words to them.  If it's a Learning Station song, try to memorize the motions, too.  If it's not, then make up your own dance.

Wednesday: ZoomClass at 1:00. Check SeeSaw for a new activity.  Make sure to take 30 minutes to relax and listen to your favorite songs.

Thursday:  Can you find something *new* around your house that you can turn into an instrument? Can you find two things? Double check your activities in SeeSaw.

Tuesday: Try a NEW Learning Station song today and see how fast you can learn it. Check SeeSaw for activity.

Wednesday: Can you teach someone how to sing and do the dance motions to your favorite Learning Station song?

Thursday: Try finding 2 things that are not instruments, but that you could use as an instrument. (piggy bank shaker, spoon and pan drum, etc).

Kinder-1st Music Week of 9/7/20

This week, students will be learning about percussion instruments and reviewing string instruments and wind instruments.

Wednesday: Zoom class with Mr. Hopson, singing and dancing, and percussion instrument video. Continue doing SeeSaw activities.

Thursday:  Put on a different song that you did on Tuesday and make sure to sing and dance around. Have fun and let loose!

Friday: Look for a new activity in SeeSaw!  Sing and dance to your favorite Learning Station song that we did this week. Try to memorize the hand motions/dance.
