Qualifying Score Requirements

*Qualifying Accuplacer Score Requirements:

A qualifying Accuplacer score in English and/or Math at the time of seat acceptance will give students the widest choice for classes at Front Range Community College.  Our counselor works with eligible and enrolled students to sign up for FRCC fall classes, which open up in the spring. Students must meet FRCC set minimum scores to qualify for college level courses.

Interpreting qualifying scores:

For the Next Generation Accuplacer qualifying scores are as follows for Westgate's concurrent enrollment program:

English score of 246 or higher as this placement regards English Composition 1021 or other writing-based courses.

Math score of 245 or higher under the Advanced Algebra Functions section (AAF) as this placement regards college algebra (MAT 1340). Other math sections that are lower than college algebra, such as Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics, are not considered.

*Please remember that both the English and Math sections of the Next Generation Accuplacer test must be taken for lottery priority purposes.  Scores from these tests are used for class placement for the Fall 2024 semester.
