This week, students will begin playing marimbas, reviewing technique for holding mallets, using the mallets appropriately, and playing together in a group.

 

We will play the warm up song "CDEFG", working on playing as a group and with a drum beat.

 

Students will work on singing and moving to music, matching different dance moves and practicing keeping a beat. They will also review rhythms and how to apply them to instruments.
