Weekly Update - April 21

Important Dates for a most important week:

• Wednesday, April 24: Civil War Reenactment Fundraiser, 6-8:30 pm
  • I could use the help of students setting up after school on Wednesday from 4-6. Students should be here no later than 5:30.
  • The Fundraiser is free to attend. Donations are greatly appreciated, and please invite all your friends and family!
  • As part of the fundraiser, students will be hosting a Civil War Era Buffett with recipes from the 1860s. Each student will be responsible for making and bring one item. They should of come home with this on Friday. This recipe will be assigned by this Friday. If after looking at the recipe, you determine you will have difficulty completing it, please speak with me and we can work something out. 
• Thursday, April 25: Civil War Reenactment of the First Battle of Bull Run, 8-3
  • Students need to be at school early to get dressed and ready to leave for the reenactment.
  • I need a couple volunteers to help transport supplies to the park around 8:30 and back to school around 2:30. 
  • Anyone can come and watch the reenactment at Lake Village Park in Thornton. The best times are from 9-11 and 12:30-2:30
