Weekly Update - March 11

This week, students will discuss Abraham Lincoln and his views on the political and social equality of African-Americans.

  • Can a person be racist while at the same time fight for rights of the enslaved? 

    • Was Lincoln racist? 
    • Did Lincoln believe slavery should end? 
Students will review the advantages, disadvantages and battle strategies of the North and South and begin to look at different battles of the Civil War.
