Weekly Update - August 26
This week in social studies, students will take the experiences they had creating their own government and see how, when faced with the same questions, the founders of the United States created their first government. Some questions that we will ask about the Articles of Confederation are:
- What kind of government did our founders want?
- What were the strengths of this new government?
- What were the weaknesses of this new government?
- How did the Articles of Confederation compare with the governments created by the student groups.
