Staff Profile

Hello! I am Christi Calder, Ms. Calder, and I am so excited to be back at Westgate this year!

When I was in fourth grade, I had a desire to become a teacher, and over the last 30 years I have been able to live out that dream! I have taught in Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska as a Special Education and General Education teacher, and I have loved every minute of it. I moved to Colorado a year ago and it has been the best decision.  My philosophy is that goodness can come out of anything! 

My loves in my life are my two children, Tyler, 27 and Tess, 23. Music, sports, nature and canvas painting are my escapes that bring joy and help to rejuvenate me!

I am looking forward to working with you this year!!
