Staff Profile
Hello! I am very excited to be teaching 1-2 at Westgate again this year! This will be my 13th year of teaching. From 2005-2012, I taught 1st and 3rd grade at Aurora Quest K-8, a magnet school for Gifted and Talented children. Since then, I have been a part time ELL teacher, a stay-at-home parent, substitute teacher, 3rd grade teacher at Tarver Elementary, and I homeschooled my children during the 2020-2021 school year. I was very happy to return to teaching full-time. I love my job!
I have been married to my husband for 13 years and we have 2 children, ages 9 and 12. Both of my children attend Westgate as well. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching Sci-Fi, getting together with friends, and snuggling with my dogs.
