Weekly Update August 24th

Welcome to the first week of Algebra I! This week, we will be pretesting and going over some math from your middle school courses that will prove essential through the year. Based on the pretests and review, we will jump into deeper content next week at the appropriate place for the class.

Classes: Monday/Wednesday, 9:15 – 9:45 AM

Office Hours: Wednesday (3:00 – 4:00 PM) and Thursday (2:00 – 3:00 PM)

Weekly Objectives

  1. Students will take a pretest in order to help the teacher determine the best place to begin Algebra II content.
  2. Students will review order of operations, negative integers, and balancing simple equations in order to prepare for the beginning of the first unit next week.
