Math Monday

1. Complete the challenge problem
2. Fluency packet for 10 minutes
3. Watch the video on Teams: Relate Multiplication with area models to the standard algorithm
4. Answer the questions on Khan Academy: Multiply by taking out factors of 10 problems
5. Answer the questions on Khan Academy: "Multiply by 1-digit numbers with standard algorithm"

Math Friday

Spend 30 minutes continuing on with Mobymax. This will be graded on completion, so make sure to get it done!

Math Thursday

Go to Khan Academy, click on the 5th grade course, and then start at the beginning of the course. This will all be discussed during Ms. Cooper’s video, so make sure to watch that first. You will spend 45 minutes (or more!) working your way through the courses. If you get less than 3 correct, you need to redo that section. Again, this is discussed in Ms. Cooper’s video so make sure to watch it!

Math Wednesday

Look at the slides for Wednesday Math and login to Khan Academy. Explore the website and see what you notice about it, then take the math placement test on Khan Academy. When you finish, you may do other 5th grade lessons if you have time (optional)

Wednesday Assignment

Complete Lesson 10 in your math workbook. Make sure to send Ms. Cooper a picture when you finish!

Monday Assignment: Lesson 9

Complete Lesson 9 in your math workbook. Send a picture to Ms. Cooper when you finish!

Week 3 Assignments Slideshow

Here is a PDF for all of the assignments for the week. In the bottom right corner is a little tag that says "Graded", these are the assignments that are required and should take extra care. The others are highly suggested as well, but if students are spending more than 6 hours on work a day and not getting everything done, they can just do the graded ones.

Lesson 6 Friday

In your math booklet, finish lesson 6. If you need help, go to the math microsoft teams and look at some example videos for the topic!

Then, spend 30 minutes on Mobymax!
