Distant Science Wednesday

Students should work on finishing their Electric Field Hockey lab and work on doing the write up for this lab as well.  This is the portion that I will be grading.

Distant Science Tuesday

On Tuesday, we will do a KaHoot review of what students have read, and then look over the next slides as a class.  Students will watch a demonstration of their first lab for this unit: Electric Field Hockey.  This lab is entirely online, and students will be following the link and will be working on manipulating the electric "field" to see if they can get the positively or negatively charged "hockey puck" into the goal.

Distant Science Monday

Students will read slides 76-93 in their slideshows.  In their assignments is a note-catcher that they can fill out as they go!  On Tuesday when we meet up for our Zoom class, students will have the chance to go over the content in a short KaHoot

Science Friday

  1. Pick the most important 5 notes you took this week from the slideshow
  2. Share those notes on Flipgrid and explain why they are the 5 most important

Science Thursday

Write a summary and reflection on what you have learned from the science slideshow so far this week.

Then, read and take notes on slides 63-75

Science Wednesday

Go through the slideshow and complete slides 48-62 . Add to your two column notes on each slide from yesterday with information from the new slides. Set up your columns with the left side saying "slide number" and the right side saying "details". Put 1-2 details about each slide (choose the most important information!)

Science Tuesday

Go through the slideshow and complete slides 29-47. Take two column notes on each slide. Set up your columns with the left side saying "slide number" and the right side saying "details". Put 1-2 details about each slide (choose the most important information!)

Science Monday

Go through the slideshow and complete slides 19-28. Then, write a reflection on what you learned using at least 5 new vocabulary words from the slides.

Friday Force

After reading through the slides in the Forces slideshow from yesterday, watch the video on my stream for Friday, October 16th.  Then, answer the following questions in the document below.

  3. Write a few neatly written sentences under each phase that explains the movement of the particles in each state. Incorporate what you learned about particles. Refer to the spacing of particles, their speed of movement and how they move.

Friday Assignment
