What are we learning this week in Social Studies? 

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of the Eastern Woodlands by creating a longhouse or wigwam. 

Students can inform others of the Eastern Woodlands by including an informational paragraph with my longhouse or wigwam.

Students will be able to identify the main tribes of the Eastern Woodlands region. 

Students will be able to compare two of the tribes of the Eastern Woodlands region. 

Students will be able to recall the resources used by the tribes of the Eastern Woodlands region  

What are we doing this week? 

The Eastern Woodlands Region 

*start collecting materials for the mini project now: sticks, twigs, string, yarn, glue, hot glue, scissors, cardboard, etc.

What are we learning this week in Social Studies? 

Students can demonstrate their knowledge of the daily life of the Great Plains NAI by writing an article as if they have gone back in time for a day. 

Students can identify how the Europeans affected the tribes of the Great Plains.

Weekly Update - Nov. 23-27

No Zoom classes or new assignments this week. 

This is a good opportunity to get caught up on missing/late assignments and to redo any assignments with 1s or 2s to improve your scores. 

It would also benefit students to continue reading every day and doing some independent math practice in Moby Max.
