Students will demonstrate knowledge of 3D geometry including names and characteristics of various 3D figures, calculating volume, and calculating surface area. 

Students will become familiar with asking and answering statistical questions. 

Students will be able to use mean, median, and mode to find the center of a set of data. 

Students will be able to visually display a set of data using a dot plot.

Students will be able to identify 3D figures including cubes, various prisms, and various pyramids. 

Students will be able to describe characteristics of specific 3D figures and groups of 3D figures such as prisms or pyramids. 

Students will use nets of 3D figures and extend knowledge of area in order to calculate the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms.
