Module 3 Lesson 4 Objective: Interpret and represent patterns when multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000 in arrays and numerically.

Module 2 Final Assessment.  During the zoom meeting I will be conducting a review of Module 2 for the students and then after the Zoom meeting they can begin working on the Module 2 Final Assessment.  Calculator SHOULD NOT be used on this Assessment. The Assessment can be found in the “Quizzes” tab under their name tab in the Math Teams Class Notebook.

Make certain that calculations are solved two ways and check for correctness.  All word problems should have a word answer using a RACES style response. 

Once students have completed the Module 2 Final, they need to take the Module 3 Pre-test. This is found in the “Quizzes” tab under their name tab in the Class Notebook in Teams.  This is not a graded test, however it is important for the students to complete so that I can get a sense of their current level of understanding.

Students will be expected to complete this Assignment/Quiz located in the Math Teams quizzes tab.  This will be a graded assignment/quiz.

Module 1 Lessons 12-15 

Objective:  Use place value understanding to fluently add multi-digit whole numbers using the standard addition algorithm, and apply the algorithm to solve word problems using tape diagrams. (Lesson 12) 

Objective: Use place value understanding to decompose to smaller units once using the standard subtraction algorithm, and apply the algorithm to solve word problems using tape diagrams. (Lesson 13)  

Objective: Use place value understanding to decompose to smaller units up to three times using the standard subtraction algorithm, and apply the algorithm to solve word problems using tape diagrams. (Lesson 14) 

Objective: Use place value understanding to fluently decompose to smaller units multiple times in any place using the standard subtraction algorithm, and apply the algorithm to solve word problems using tape diagrams. (Lesson 15)  

Monday, Oct. 19th –  Module 1 Lesson 12
