Economics Assignments for 5/11 - 5/15

Hey Folks,

For the remainder of the year we are going to be completing assignments in econlowdown as we end our study of Macro and Microeconomics and move on to Personal Finance. New assignments will be available every week in econlowdown.

To get started on your assignments, find the email I sent previously from econlowdown and find the link to your student login page and access your account using the student code and password in that email.

Also, please do not login using your gmail. Your econlowdown login is tied to your outlook school emails so use the student login and password in that email to login.

The first thing you will notice is that there will be quite a bit more assignments than you are used to. Relax good people. These assignments are small and you won't have to worry about downloading the power point, copying and pasting, One Note acting funky, etc. as everything is contained within each assignment in econlowdown. Upon completion, your scores will be reported to me.

Your assignments for this week are:

Cards, Cars and Currency: Lessons 1-5

We will be meeting this Wednesday from 10-11AM.
Your Economics assignments for this week are in One Note and they are Topics 3.1-3.3. Please use the Topic 3 Power Point in the Content Library to complete these assignments and I will address any questions on Wednesday. You can also email me any questions or check in with me during my office hours on Tuesday or Wednesday from 2-3. I will also be checking your work in One Note throughout the week.

Economics Assignments for Week of 4/6 - 4/10

Hey Folks!
We will be having an Advocacy meeting Monday at 8AM so we can reconnect and I can answer questions and explain what the rest of the year will look like for Economics and Advocacy. It's not imperative that you attend the Zoom meeting but it will be a great way for us to get together and address some concerns you might have. I have sent you all an invitation and tomorrow's meeting will not be the normal meeting time for us, the regular meeting time will be Wednesdays 10-11AM for Economics and Fridays 10-11AM for Advocacy. Tomorrow morning is to just help you start the week out on good footing and to help you get going.

Your Economics assignments for this week are already in One Note and they are Topics 2.1-2.3. Please use the Power Point I have created in the Content Library to begin working on these and I will address any questions on Wednesday. You can also email me any questions and I will be checking your work in One Note throughout the week.

Hope everyone is well and I'm looking forward to hearing from you all Monday morning!

Assignments for Monday 3/16-Wednesday 3/17

Hey all,

Hope you are all getting cozy at home.

We do have some work assignments for the next few days as you contemplate the scarcity of toilet paper.

  1. Make sure you have completed Topic1.1-1.3 in One Note if you have not already. The Power Point for Topic 1 is in the content library and it will help you complete these assignments.
  2. I have added the Topic 1 Practice Guide in Class Assignment in One Note and again, the Topic 1.1-1.3 assignments will help you with these along with the Power Point.
***Remember that you may have to refresh One Note until the Assignments populate but rest assured they are there and you will be responsible for them***
Make sure that you are checking your emails regularly in the event we have to rely on One Note for assignments in the future.

Be safe and have a good spring break!
