Hey Folks,

This week I would like you to watch an episode of The Good Place and then watch a follow up video I have included in One Note. Your assignment is to come up with 10 existential questions that you have ever wondered about life and then answer a question about how people may be able to overcome an existential crisis. This is an easy assignment so have fun with it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Philosophy Assignments for Week of 4/13 - 4/17

Hey all,

Philosophy assignment for this week is posted in One Note; John Locke.

Your second assignment is to come up with a topic for your final project. If you already know what your topic is cool, stick with that. If you are having trouble narrowing it down then answer this question:
What in life do you see truth in?
What do you like or enjoy in your life that motivates you or allows you to see truth, beauty, or the meaning of life?
This could be anything you enjoy like martial arts, music, movies, TV, Magic the Gathering, D&D, ...anything. We often like these things because we find some truth or universality in them that we translate into how we perceive the world and our place in it.
Create a page in your One Note in class assignments, name it Project Topic Proposal, and tell me what you are considering.

Let me know if you get stuck and we can talk about it during the meeting on Wednesday.
