Week of 1/21-1/24

We will finally be meeting this week Philosophers!

Our class will look a little different this week as we are losing and gaining some people. This week we will be discussing humanism and Renaissance philosophers on Wednesday. If you have not done so, please return your copy of Siddhartha to me.

Thanks!

Welcome back and Happy New Year!

Hey Philosophers!

Hope you all had a restful break and refrained from contemplating the human condition too much.
As I hope you all know, we will be switching our class meeting time to the afternoons on Mondays and Wednesdays right after lunch. During our first week back, we will have all the students who normally attend FRCC with us in the afternoons. Because of this, we will be doing the Adulting 101 and study skills sessions during the time that we normally have Philosophy. Our class will meet for the first time on Monday the 20th.
Looking forward to seeing all you!

The essential question I would like everyone to keep in mind for this unit is: What is the relationship between knowledge and spirituality?
