count: students will be able to state numbers in a sequence 0-10

compare students will be able to compare objects/numbers by stating which is greater, less or equal

quantity: students will be able to count a set of objects and state how many are there

Unit 4 will carry us through the next two weeks.

Welcome Back!
I hope you all enjoyed Fall Break. We will spend this week reviewing procedures and content from week #5. This includes writing numbers and identifying quantities 0 to 10. Once we are back in the swing of things we will move forward to comparing numbers and using the math vocabulary from previous units to observe and compare numbers.
I am excited to see everyone on Monday. Enjoy your last days of break.

Welcome to Math Workshop!

Hello Wonderful Parents!
This week I am excited to welcome a new group of amazing students into our classroom. We will use this week as time to become familiar with our classroom routines and expectations during Math Workshop.
Our target this week is for students to describe, practice, and apply the strategy of counting objects to see how many there are.
I am so excited to begin this journey and support your students in building a love of math!
