This week during writing we will be continuing working on our "How To" papers. We start off with listing the steps to make our recipe! The introduction paragraph will be due by Wednesday. 
 
This week during reading we will be continuing to read Hatchet. We will also be talking about the plot structure and how in moves the story along through key events of the story.

This week during writing we will be beginning our "How To" papers. We start off with talking about what a process paper is, who the audience is, and what specifically we will be writing about. The students will be picking a recipe for this paper-so start brainstorming! The recipe proposal will be due by Wednesday. 
 
This week during reading we will be continuing to read Hatchet. We will also be talking about the plot structure and how in moves the story along through key events of the story.

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed your fall break! Don't forget that all Hunger Games (or alternative reading) project and two theme pages on OneNote are due Monday. 
 
This week we will be finishing up our final drafts of our personal narratives. They are due on Friday. We will also be starting Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. The reading schedule is posted inn the classroom, on OneNote, and here under the LA assignments.
