This week during reading we will be continuing to read Hatchet. We will also be talking about the plot structure and how in moves the story along through key events of the story.

This week during writing we will be beginning our "How To" papers. We start off with talking about what a process paper is, who the audience is, and what specifically we will be writing about. The students will be picking a recipe for this paper-so start brainstorming! The recipe proposal will be due by Wednesday. 
 
This week during reading we will be continuing to read Hatchet. We will also be talking about the plot structure and how in moves the story along through key events of the story.
