Course Description

 Advocacy is our home base at school.  We spend time really getting to know each other and working on skills that are useful across the content areas.  We focus on habits of successful learners and social/emotional skills.  My goal is for my advocacy students to all feel like they have an adult in the building they can trust.  If they are struggling to advocate for themselves with another student or another teacher, they can come to me for support in handling the situation.  I am also a resource for parents with any school related questions or concerns.  If I can't answer I question right away, I will find answers or point you to the appropriate contact person.

Sept. 25-26: Fall Play - Enchanted Bookshop 7pm
Sept. 27-28: NO SCHOOL, Parent/teacher conferences 8am-8pm by appointment
Oct. 1-12: NO SCHOOL, Fall Break

Important this week:
  • Outdoor Ed registration for students due this week! 
    • Students who have not turned in both payment and permission forms by 3:30 Friday will not be able to attend.  *Note that there is no school for students on Friday.  
  • Original Works artwork and orders were sent home Friday.
