HS Week 4- 4/29-5/3

This week we will be playing some ultimate frisbee. Students will learn how to throw the frisbee with accuracy while developing their cardiovascular endurance. We will also be playing some volleyball outside. On Wednesday students will be participating in a design your own workout with a goal of 26minutes in the performance heart rate zone. In health we will be finishing up our Mental Health Awareness modules. 

7/8 Week 3- 4/22-4/26

This week we will continue with our team sports. We will be getting outside to play some flag football and ultimate frisbee. We will also be playing some soccer and going for a 20minute jog. On wednesday the students will be participating in our tabata stations workout(since school was closed last wednesday) and in health we will continue to work through our online mental health awareness modules. 

7/8 Week 2- 4/16-4/20

This week we will continue with our team sports. We will be playing some small sided games of soccer outside. We also hope to be starting our Frisbee golf unit, so long as the weather cooperates. In health we will be talking about our mental health, what it is, why it is important, and how to care for it. On Wednesday the students will be participating in a tabata circuit workout. 

HS Week 9- 3/18-3/20

We will be playing some crazy cageball, capture the flag, and gagaball this week. THere will be no workout. AlcoholEDU modules are due TODAY 3/15!!

HS Week 8- 3/11-3/15

This week we will continue with our team sports. We will be playing some Pickleball and Cageball this week. Students will be working on their hand eye coordination and their paddle control while participating in Pickleball. For our workout, students will be participating in a competitive game of hockey with a heart rate goal of 20minutes in the performance heart rate zone of 70-100%.  In health students will be finishing up their AlcoholEDU modules and starting their mental health modules.

This week we will begin playing some Tchoukball. Students will continue to work through online AlcoholEdu health modules. We will also begin brainstorming for our design your own game assignment that will be coming up in a few weeks. For our workout the students will be going through our TABATA stations with a goal of 20minutes in the performance heart rate zone. 

HS Week 7- 2/25-3/1

This week we will be continuing our team sports. We will be playing some hockey, satryn ball, and smackball. In health we will be talking about the importance keeping your heart healthy, what is heart disease, and how do you avoid heart disease. For our workout, the students will be going through the tabata stations and working to stay in the performance zone for 27minutes. 

7/8 Week 6- 2/19-2/22

This week we will be continuing our team sports. We will be playing some hockey, satryn ball, and smackball. This week we will be starting to play some tchoukball tournaments. Students will continue to work through AlcoholEDU. For our workout, students will be participating in our stations with a goal of 20minutes in the performance heart rate zone of 70-100% of their max. 

HS 2/4-2/8

Students will be participating in soccer games this week. On Wednesday, the students will be participating in a jump rope workout with a goal of 20minutes in the performance heart rate zone. In health we will continue to work through the AlcoholEDU modules online.
