Week 2

Great Job this week PE All Stars!

This week we focused on our hand eye coordination specifically the skills rolling and tossing. We had a little across class challenge between the K and 1/2 students in a timed game of POPCORN. It was so great to see everyone working together to complete the challenge. In health we began talking about making healthy food choice and what makes a food healthy for you. For workout Wednesday we went through our workout stations and followed Mr. Wise's lead. It was great to see everyone working so hard and getting strong!

Next week we will begin playing some catch and really develop that hand eye coordination that is so important not only for sports and PE but writing and in the classroom as well!

Keep up the good work!

Great job this week! It was so great to see everyone and how much they have grown over the summer! The energy has been buzzing in PE this week. We spent a lot of time learning some new warm up and movement games. On Wednesday we were able to squeeze in a little workout. It was great to see everyone breathing hard and sweating. On Thursday I pushed into the classroom and we talked about the importance of drinking water and how it helps keep our bodies cool and healthy.

Next week we will continue to work on our body awareness and movement competency as well as introduce some rolling and catching skills!

Looking forward to another great week in PE!
