By learning about shapes, the students will be creating a mixed media pig.

I will be teaching the students about primary colors and they will color a drawing with only Red, Blue and Yellow. Once they have understood the primary colors I will introduce them to artist Piet Mondrian and they will produce a painting inspired by his work.
I will also be showing them a song by OK Go that was featured in Sesame Street to further teach them about primary colors.

The students will be creating dinosaurs using paper plates, construction paper and googly eyes.

The students will be making 3D letters using yarn and glue.
