The students will be making a dog painting using a certain style of brushstrokes to create the wispy fur.

I will be reading the students The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. They will then create a 3D caterpillar based on the book.

I will be teaching the students about primary colors and they will be drawing a picture of a dog or cat using the primary colors.

I will also be showing them a song by OK Go that was featured in Sesame Street to further teach them about primary colors.
