This week, students will be learning the symbols for a quarter note and a pair of eighth notes.

 

They will practice recognizing the symbol and counting/clapping it in time.

 

Students will also be singing and moving to music, practicing moving to the beat.

 

We will talk about how music makes you feel and how to respond to music that sounds "good" and "bad". "What makes music good? What makes music bad?"
