Last week I got to meet your child, introduce them to their writer's notebook, and observe what Joy Reading means to them while getting some baseline data for their writing and reading skills.

 

This week we'll continue creating the norms and practices of the classrooms with their notebooks, some daily grammar practice, and ye ole' MAP Tests that will baseline all the growth their going to make this year.
