Advocacy we will continue working on S.M.A.R.T goals using Growth Mindset language.  The kids wrote a S.M.A.R.T goal for themself and we will continue to write down the steps to accomplish their goals.  

 

During Academic Lab for the next 6 weeks, we will be focusing on writing; specifically on writing a topic sentence, using transitions, using evidence to support the writing, and writing conclusions. Students will stay in their Advocacy class. Three days a week there will be direct writing instruction, every Wednesday we will have Joy of Reading, and one day a week Mrs. Cundari will be coming into teach the kids how to respond to Math story problems using writing.
