Ms. Christy Calder is a teacher in our 5/6 POD and is one of only six Colorado teachers to be recognized by the Colorado Avalanche.
She was selected as the Most Valuable Teacher for November!
Representatives of the Colorado Avalanche will be at Westgate on Tuesday, Nov. 7 to present her prize package.
She's receiving four game tickets, dinner for four, $1,000 classroom grant and recognition during the November 15 Avalanche game.
So, wear your Colorado Avalanche gear or colors on Tuesday to help celebrate her win.
