Unit: Multiplication

Objective: Multiply Multi Digit numbers 

 

Progress: Most students are continuing to work on the fourth grade standard of multiplying two 2-digit numbers.  A small group is continuing to work on 4-digit by single digit numbers, and another small group is starting to move into numbers with more than 2 digits.

 

All students are being taught the traditional style of multiplication.  A few students who are struggling with place value or place holders are going to be exposed to the lattice style multiplication instead. Feel free to support your child with any method if you are working at home.
