Please remember there are NO zoom classes this quarter. There are instructional videos and independent practice for the day on Teams. 

 

Monday: 

-Lesson: Note Taking (writing) & Annotating (reading) 

-Begin researching your topic and take notes.  There are three separate pages with space to record sources. 

-Start your Travel Journal, read and annotate Sri Lanka. 

Tuesday: 

-Lesson: Writing a Works Cited for a website source (writing) & Sensory Language Activity (reading) 

-Continue researching and taking notes. Include appropriately cited sources for your works cited. 

-Travel Journal- finish Sri Lanka and answer the comprehension questions. 

Wednesday: 

-Lesson: Writing a Works Cited for an Encyclopedia; both online and print 

-Continue researching and taking notes. Include appropriately cited sources for your works cited. 

-Travel Journal- read Maldives and work on the sensory language activity 

Thursday: 

-Lesson: Writing a Works Cited for a book or Magazine 

-Continue researching and taking notes. Include appropriately cited sources for your works cited. 

- Travel Journal- read Maldives and finish the sensory language activity 

Friday: 

- No video lesson

-Finish all three note pages with appropriately cited sources. 

-Turn in the one Note Page in our Teams Assignments 

-Take a picture or scan a copy of your Sri Lanka Annotation to upload to the assignments in Teams.
