Hello science families!  

I hope you had a great week! In science, we are starting a new unit that we should be able to finish before winter break. We are starting our work, power and machines unit where we will learn how to compare the power outputs of two objects, calculate power and work, identify 6 simple machines and calculate mechanical advantage. This week, we will: 

• Define key vocabulary words needed for this unit 
• Determine how to calculate work  
• Determine how to calculate power  

As a reminder, students are able to complete test corrections for our Force and Motion Unit and turn them in to me by this Friday (12/1). Please reach out with any questions or concerns and have a great week!
