Hello 8th grade science families! 

Hope you all had a wonderful break and are ready for second quarter! We ended the quarter by completing a force and motion choice board activity that will be our first grade in the gradebook. This week, we will: 

• Understand why and how the leaves change colors 
• Review forces and types of friction  
• Complete a lab comparing gravity on earth to other planets and moons  
• Understand how mass relates to weight and free-fall
