May Advocacy is Empathy: Caring for the World. Here are our May updates:

·          May 16: 8th grade Civil War Reenactment at Chatfield Reservoir 9-2:30 pm​

·          May 16: 7th grade Growing Gardens field trip.​

·          May 17: All late work is due​

·          May 19: Grades due​

·          May 19: 7/8 Dance from 6 – 8:30​

·          May 23: 7/8 Music Concert 5:30

·          May 24: Continuation Ceremony at 9:00 – 10:00 am​

·          May 25: Half day – Cleaning and POD Party​

·          May 25: Carnival from 2 –6 pm and Open House from 3 – 5 pm​

·          May 26: Half Day - Move Up, Final Cleanup and Yearbook Signing

 

 

 

Westgate Donation Drive for Veterans – sponsored by Mr. Rowan and Mr. Kahn’s 8^th Grade Classes

WHEN:  Monday thru Friday, May 15 – May 19 following afternoon carline until 4p

WHERE:  As you exit carline, follow signs to the staff entrance (north side of bldg.)

WHAT:  Clothes, household goods, electronics (NO TVs and NO LARGE APPLIANCES), toys, books, sports equipment. All items must be in good working condition. Please have your donations in bags or boxes small enough for one person to carry.

WHO:  Vietnam Veterans of America picks up donations via a service called pickupplease.org.

WHY:  Culmination effort of their service-learning project and to make a difference in the lives of America’s Veterans and their families!
