Greetings Advocacy Families!

 

For the time we have together in December, our Advocacy theme will be The Greater Good. We will continue to leverage our strengths and use the skills we’ve learned/practiced to leave a positive impact on our community. For each day we have created a calendar that provides us all with a daily idea of how we can have a positive impact on our community. Students can do this at school or at home.

 

December Greater Good Calendar Ideas

12^th: Do a Random Act of Kindness

13^th: Practice Self-Care by doing something nice for yourself.

14^th: Hand out Positive Notes to students around the school.

 

Little Free Library Donations

We are asking for donation of gently used books that we can rotate into our Little Free Library. If you or your student has a book that you would like to donate, you can drop it off with Mr. Rowan

 

Holiday Party

We will be having our Holiday Party on Wednesday afternoon. We will have a movie room, game room, a Just Dance room and a room with holiday crafts.

 

We are asking for donations of food and beverages for the party

• All food and drink donation items must be individually wrapped. ​
• Students can bring these donations in on Wednesday morning
• Extra food will be saved for dance

 

Q2 Conferences

We will be holding Quarter 2 Conferences on Thursday December 15^th in person from 8am to 8pm and on Friday December 16^th they will be virtual from 8am to 12pm. Look for an email for conference sign ups. Conference Sign Ups will close Monday afternoon at 4pm. A link for the virtual conferences will be sent out next week to those who are signed up for Friday.

• December 14^th: 7/8 Music Concert
• December 15^th: In-person conferences from 8am – 8pm
• December 16^th: Virtual conferences from 8am – 12pm
• December 15^th – January 6^th: Winter Break
