Greetings Advocacy Families!

For the last few days of November, we will be using Advocacy to explore the words Accept, Respect, and Value to help us better understand and accept others’ differences. Lessons will focus acknowledging diversity, using compassion, valuing others’ opinions and experiences, and being able to see differences as strengths. This week, students will participate in active listening as a strategy to learn about others and show that we respect and value what they have to say.

Reminders:

• December 1^st: Application for the Westgate High School opens
• December 9^th: Quarter 2 grades due
• December 15^th: In-person conferences from 8am - 8pm
• December 16^th: Virtual conferences from 8am – 12pm
