Advocacy 11/7 - 11/10

Greetings Advocacy Families!

For the month of November, we will be using Advocacy to explore the words Accept, Respect, and Value to help us better understand and accept others’ differences. Lessons will focus acknowledging diversity, using compassion, valuing others’ opinions and experiences, and being able to see differences as strengths. Last week students looked at the difference between tolerance and acceptance. This week we will focus on our differences and how they make us unique and strong. We will then find ways to accept those differences we see in others.

  • The weather looks good with a high of 67 for eating outside at the park.
  • During this field trip, we will be taking a tour of the museum, meeting local veterans, learning about proper burial for American Flags, and exploring their educational trunks.
