Greetings Advocacy Families!

Welcome back! We hope your students are rested and ready for Quarter 2!For the month of October, we will be using Advocacy to how empathy and kindness can be used build a caring community that identifies, stands up to and works to stop bullying. To support this work, we have arranged for a Team Building Day with Experiential Learning Associates on Wednesday, October 19. All 7/8 teachers, Mrs. Dewar, Ms. Washington, Ms. Charlie and Mrs. Woodward (who will serve as the maternity leave substitute for Mrs. Haworth) will participate in this fun and purposeful event. It’s time to build a strong Team! Students should plan for a full day of fun and team building activities. Please dress to be outside for three hours! The focus for the day will be Empathy, Respect and Community Building. If you haven’t already, please click on the following link and complete the attached waiver for the event from our partners at Experiential Learning Associates. We will also send a copy home on Monday with your child.
