Advocacy - Sept. 19-23

Greetings Advocacy Families!

As we move into the fourth week of September, we now have two weeks of classes left before Fall Break. I want to remind everyone that each and every day we have a 30 minute period called Academic Success Lab. This is a time where students can check their Infinite Campus and  work on assignments they didn’t finish in class, complete makeup work if they missed school or work with a teacher build knowledge and skills they need help with.

This week in Advocacy, we will focus on student strengths. Many times we focus on our weaknesses, and this unit is a way for all of us to either remember and/or discover our strengths and the those things we all possess that make us strong. We will then discuss how we can use our strength to RISE. On Monday students will review their September Goal and see if they are on track to accomplish it. We will continue practicing logging into Infinite Campus, checking grades and communicating this home to parents each Friday.

Parent-Teacher Conferences: October 3rd and 4th will be parent-teacher conferences. October 3rd will be in-person and October 4th will be virtual. We will be sending the link to sign up on Wednesday, September 21st and it will be closed on Wednesday, September 28th. Please look for this link in your emails on Wednesday.
