Advocacy Sept. 12-16

Greetings Advocacy Families!

As we move into the third week of September, we now have three weeks of classes left before Fall Break. I want to remind you to remind your students that each and every day we have a 30 minute period called Academic Success Lab. This is a time where students can check their Infinite Campus and  work on assignments they didn’t finish in class, complete makeup work if they missed school or work with a teacher build knowledge and skills they need help with. This week we will review the results of a survey students took about how safe they feel at school. We will discuss making choices that keep ourselves and those around us mentally and physically safe. Next week we will focus on student strengths. Many times we focus on our weaknesses, and this unit is a way for all of us to either remember and/or discover our strengths and the those things we all possess that make us strong. We will continue practicing logging into Infinite Campus, checking grades and communicating this home to parents each Friday.
