Ms. Lubang

Hi! My name is Ms. Lubang. I am thrilled to return to our kindergarten team at Westgate Community School! This year, I will be starting my new role as the kindergarten team lead. There is so much I am looking forward to this year, but specially creating a playful and inclusive community!  

I started my passion for education at the University of Northern Colorado, where I graduated with a degree in elementary education and a minor in French. From there, I continued to explore teaching as an English teaching assistant in France and Japan! After traveling, I went back to my roots and moved back to Colorado to teach fourth grade for the past three years. During this time, I studied at Relay Graduate Education and received my Master of Arts in Teaching.  

When I am not in the classroom you can find me playing board games with my fiancé, lounging with my cat, and spending time outdoors! Some of my favorites are yellow, Harry Potter, and caramel macchiatos!
