Friday September 18th

Westgate is holding our second round of in-person learning. Similar to the orientation week, students will have the chance to come in for one day or morning in order to meet with their teachers for a day. As with orientation week, we will be following all state and district guidelines regarding safety around COVID-19.
Your students will attend Friday, September 18th from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The seniors' schedule will consist of: Advocacy, SAT Pre-Administration, and Senior Seminar.

Seniors will be completing the SAT pre-administration. During this time, Seniors will begin filling out their answer sheets with their information as well as information related to sending their scores to universities. We highly encourage your student to attend this in-person day on September 18th so they are fully prepared to take the SAT on the 23rd. If they are absolutely unable to attend school in-person on September 18th, please contact me so that we can schedule another time to complete the pre-administration.

Some important things to note:

1) Students need a filled water bottle for orientation day. Microwaves and water fountains will not be available for use, and students cannot leave campus for lunch.

2) As per state mandate, we will be enforcing masks and social distancing. If students do not wear masks or if they choose to take off their masks, they will not be allowed to stay.

What your student should bring:

  • Facemask
  • Computer
  • Pens/Pencils
  • Water bottle
