Afternoon Snacks:  We do have an afternoon snack time from 1:45-1:55. You are welcome to send a 2nd snack for your child during this time.  It’s completely optional.  

Picture Day:  Your child should have had a picture order form come home in their Friday Folder.  If you would like to order pictures for your child, please send this envelope back with your child by Friday, August 16th.  You can either pay online or send a check.   

Curriculum Night: This year, Curriculum Night for 1st and 2nd grade will be held on Thursday, August 29th from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.  We have a staggered schedule for different grade levels.  Please check the Westgate calendar for more information. 

Advocacy Theme:  Each month we focus on one aspect of social-emotional development.  This month, we are focused on “Starting Strong and Self Awareness”.   We will learn about building strong relationships, establishing classroom norms and goal setting.   

1st Quarter Club Sign-ups DUE:  Friday, August 16th is the deadline to sign up for 1st quarter clubs.   

No School:  Friday, August 30th there will be no school.
