My name is Paola Cifuentes, and I am thrilled to be part of the Westgate Community School family as a kindergarten teacher. I have had the privilege of teaching in bilingual and dual language classrooms, where I discovered my passion for helping children become confident learners while celebrating the unique strengths each child brings to the classroom.

I believe the kindergarten years are filled with wonder, curiosity, and endless possibilities. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. Through hands-on experiences, purposeful play, language-rich instruction, and meaningful relationships, I strive to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing a lifelong love of learning.

Building strong partnerships with families is incredibly important to me because I believe children thrive when home and schoolwork together. I look forward to celebrating milestones, encouraging perseverance, and watching each child blossom throughout the school year.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, running, traveling, and continuing to grow as an educator through graduate studies. I believe learning is a lifelong journey, and I hope to inspire that same curiosity and love of learning in every student who walks through my classroom door.
