Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities
Student Extracurricular Enrichment Opportunities (CLUBS) are available each quarter. These can be a variety of after-school activities that are planned by Westgate teachers and staff. From exploring a variety of art mediums to learning strategy with game play, or playing a sport, these club activities are made to be fun and engaging for our students and offer options for kids of all ages. Westgate often contracts with outside validated organizations for additional club offerings that you may have to register for individually.
- Students must be signed up before the registration deadline.
- Please note the age group of the club offering when registering.
- No late registration will be accepted.
- Please note that all students must be picked up by 5pm. Please be considerate in the appropriate travel time it takes to get your student(s) by the 5pm pick up time.
2025-2026 Clubs - opens August 6th at 5pm!
- Westgate Club registration will begin Wednesday, August 6th at 5pm!
- Registration closes on Sunday, August 17th at 11:59pm
- Clubs will begin the week of August 18th and run through the week of September 29th (unless otherwise noted by the club organization)
- Quarter 1 Clubs run for 7 weeks!
Please note: There will be no clubs on Labor Day (September 1st), or October 2nd and October 3rd (Parent Teacher Conference Days)

Welcome to the Make It Minis Club!
Get ready to enter the world of all things tiny! Each week, every member will receive their very own brand-new "Make It Mini" surprise ball. You'll unbox your mystery components and use your creativity to assemble a unique and adorable miniature from different lifestyle, home, or food series. We'll follow the designs, use UV resin to "set" our creations for a permanent finish, and share our amazing results. Whether you're crafting a tiny aquarium with glowing fish, potting a miniature succulent, designing a tiny bird feeder, or decorating a tiny cake, you'll have a blast creating and collecting. Best of all, your amazing mini masterpiece is yours to keep and take home at the end of every meeting! Come hang out, de-stress, and build your universe of miniatures with me! No experience is necessary, just a love for tiny things.

| Take Apart Club | 4th - 12th | $85 | Elliott | Take Apart Club is an opportunity for students to open up and explore the insides of various small electronics and machines. In the past we have opened up: PCs, phones, hard drives, radios, rc cars, toasters, printers, dvd players, VHSs to name a few. We discuss safety around these devices and practice safe ways of handling these objects and their contents. |

I am willing to teach new students if they are interested, but know this will be open to any level of crochet skill. I will have some yarn and crochet hooks for students to use, but it is highly encouraged to bring your own. |

Welcome to our Anime Club! This club is designed for students aged 7 to 13 who have a passion for anime. We carefully select age-appropriate shows that are both entertaining and suitable for this age group. Some of the anime we may watch include shows or features such as:

During yoga club we will spend each week exploring a different theme. These themes will range from different emotions, affirmations and intentions. We will explore these themes through a variety of different games, movements and mindfulness techniques. The goal being that your child leaves each week understanding how they might incorporate yoga or mindfulness into their daily life.
